Refiners Fire

Refiners Fire is a non-judgmental fellowship open to all college and young adults who are journeying along the Christian path. In a world full of stress and anxiety, this spiritual support group is an excellent way to take a break from demanding, everyday schedules and form new friendships in the process.

Mission

Reaching and training young adults  between the ages of 16 - late 25, influencing their energy, ideas, creativity, and passion and enable them to use their gifts for the benefit of people and purposes of God by  challenging and inspiring them to be all that God wants them to be!

Saturday Night Fellowship

Are you in high school, college or between the ages of 16 -25? Are you looking for a way to make new friends and discuss current issues that affect all of us? Come join our new high school and college fellowship that meets on Saturdays at the River of Life, 701 Second Street, Sunbury Pa . ACTIVITIES

For young adults’ college and high school students’ activities are designed to encourage inquiry into Christian identity, openness to ideas of diversity and to help young adults explore their feelings and concerns about significant social issues. Our goal is to help young people understand their role in being servants of God. Our young people are invited to participate in the various ministries of the church and the church is challenged to listen to the voices of our young adults and be open to their visions.

Rites of Passage

This program is designed to help 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students make their transition into young adulthood. The group will assist our older youth in the transition from youth into a young adult by assisting in their growth of a variety of skills including leadership training, college visits, independent living skills instruction, outward bound experiences and more. Refiners Fire for Young Men

This fellowship program assists young men between the ages of 16 and 25 discover their unique identities, gifts, and talents as they become more conscious of their larger purpose in life and find the path to pursue their goals. The young adult male will learn spiritual and cultural strategies that empower youth to think more critically about the messages set before them and they will be equipped with skills to make intelligent choices about the path they want to take. 

Refiners Fire for the Young Women

This fellowship program assists women to discover their unique identities, gifts, and talents as they become more conscious of their larger purpose in life and find the path to pursue their goals. Young Women between the ages of 16-25 will learn leadership development. By increasing their knowledge of self and preparing for advocacy, young women can become committed to self-care, healthy relationships, growth, and change.
